Where is this Country Coastside Corridor?
The westerly border of our Country Coastside Corridor is the Northern California San Mateo County coastline along Highway 1, beginning 11 miles south of San Francisco and continuing for approximately 22 miles south. It's bordered on the east along the Skyline ridge by Highway 35. We include eight rural, coastal communities with oceanfront, as well as small neighborhoods, farms, ranches, and open space. North to south we are called Montara, Moss Beach, Princeton by the Sea, El Granada, Half Moon Bay, San Gregorio, Loma Mar, La Honda, and Pescadero.
An abundance of our coastside homes have either ocean or mountain views. Within a short distance in any of our communities, open space, trails, and beaches can be found. Many of our coastside residents commute to work in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, the Peninsula, or the south bay. Other residents work locally or telecommute from home. There is a wide range of options for those who wish to live in our moderate climate and immerse themselves in the scenic environment of our Country Coastal Corridor.
